Inspire, empower, create.
Carefully structured art classes led by qualified art teachers (and mums to young children!) with a combined experience in teaching Art & Design from ages 4 to 18. We hold firmly the belief that “all children are artists.”
Meet The Teachers
Amanda is a teacher of Art & Design and Moving Image Arts at secondary level, with a passion for Art History. She obtained a BA from Queen's University Belfast, graduating with First Class Honours. Prior to training as a teacher at Ulster University, she pursued her research interests in Contemporary Irish Art - firstly completing an MA at Goldsmiths College, London, then a PhD at Ulster; her doctoral thesis focusing on Photography and Video Art.
Niamh is a primary school teacher with a specialism in Early Years. She received a First-Class Honours in Art & Design (BEd) from St Mary’s University College, Belfast. Following this, Niamh obtained a Masters in Education (MEd) with a focus in Special Education. She is Literacy Coordinator in her school, where she has taught for the last fifteen years. Here, Niamh enjoys leading after school art clubs for Years 1-7. She is interested in the link between early art experiences and greater literacy levels in the primary school.
